A customer had results of thousands of experiments resulting in nearly fifty thousand files stored in various proprietary formats and filling more than 100 CD’s.

Most of the catalog information was only on paper-based laboratory notebooks. There was had virtually no way of knowing what data was available, not even to mention about the possibility to reanalyzing or consolidating the results in new ways.

Fision provided a solution for the customer by 1) cataloging the data into a database, 2) converting the proprietary binary information into open database format and 3) applying Insight to retrieve, graph and analyze the data now stored in an Oracle database.

With the help of Insight the customer can check what experiments have been made and where the original data is located. They can graph the results in any dimension, analyze the data over the experiments and even over the measurement protocols.

They can extract the data in a usable format to be used in statistical analysis programs.
